COTTO

In the family, the Cotto is rightly considered the elder brother, the Floor par excellence. The oldest and undoubtedly the most used among floors, it owes its longevity to several cooking cycles in high ovens.
Today he is a nobleman who has only the title left, having given way to a new form of style that finds its most authentic expression in porcelain stoneware; but the traces of the ancient splendor are still clearly visible in the exclusivity of Florentine handmade terracotta.
The nostalgic charm to which it induces, projecting us into an ancient golden age, nevertheless presents not a few problems in terms of hygiene. The high porosity in fact facilitates the deposit of dirt and therefore of bacteria, while the characteristic capillarity allows the rising of humidity causing unsightly white efflorescence.
It is therefore understood that terracotta in its uniqueness must necessarily be protected both from above (from dirt) and from below (from rising damp).
Restoration
Jolly Service offers specific treatments for both solvent and water-based terracotta floors, concluding the operation with a wax film (solvent or water), glossy or satin. It will also be possible to remove traffic signs by simply polishing with a single brush equipped with a red or white disc.
